Dr. Bryan Bondurant received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985 from the University of Tennessee. After practicing in Ashland City and Antioch, he purchased the Arrendale Animal Clinic in 1989 and later renamed it Critter Clinic. The Critter Clinic moved into its current modern facility in 2003. Dr. Bondurant is very active in the community and in his professional organizations. He is a member of the Gallatin Morning Rotary Club, a Sunday school teacher and deacon at First Baptist in Hendersonville and serves on the task force planting a new church – Creekside Fellowship in Castalian Springs. He is also an active member of the University of Tennessee and UT-Martin Alumni Associations, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Bondurant currently serves on the board for Decisions, Choices and Options which promotes abstinence, adoptions and parenting to teens and foster care adults. He recently completed a full term on the Tennessee Board of Veterinary Medicine serving as president the final two years and served as a charter board member for Living Sent Ministry. Dr. Bondurant has been on mission trips to Brazil three times and Haiti twice. He and his wife, Becky, reside in Gallatin with their two children, Natalie and William, and their dog Lacey.
Dr. Douglas Crabtree received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. He has practiced large and small animal medicine in Louisiana and Tennessee for the past 32 years. In 1998, Dr. Crabtree joined the Critter Clinic team and soon became a partner. His special interest include internal medicine, preventative medicine and emergency care.
He is a member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association where he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President. In February 2016 Dr. Crabtree received the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Distinguished Veterinarian Service Award.
Dr. Crabtree is also very community oriented and active in the Gallatin Morning Rotary Club and the County Leadership Program. He and his wife, Chris, attend St. Joseph Catholic Church. They share their home with 2 dog and 3 cats.
Dr. Julie Becker is a 1998 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at the Critter Clinic since 2003 and her interests include internal medicine and feline practice. She also speaks at local schools to educate students about responsible pet ownership and the opportunities available in the veterinary profession. In 2007, Dr. Becker was recognized as the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Young Veterinarian of the Year.
Dr. Becker resides in her hometown of Gallatin with her husband Ron and two sons, Ben and Andrew. A Golden Retriever, Pomeranian and 2 cats help round out her family. They attend Long Hollow Baptist Church and she enjoys reading and playing pickleball in her free time.
Dr. Lindsay Pounds graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, after receiving a Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Tennessee in 2008 through the accelerated 3+1 program. She graduated first in her class in both her undergraduate and doctorate studies and has been the recipient of numerous academic achievement awards. She is also a member of several competitive honor societies, including Phi Zeta, the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pounds began her veterinary career practicing emergency medicine in Alabama and joined the Critter Clinic team in July 2012. Her interests include preventative medicine, dentistry/oral surgery and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Pounds and her husband have two sons and also share their home with three rescue pups (a greyhound and 2 golden retrievers). They attend Long Hollow Baptist Church and enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends, of both the two and four legged variety.
